General Vaping Discussion • Re: Protank2 Flung at wall at 8 mph

<a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapexcape is a young business that is new to the area. Don’t be such a sour puss. I think it’s a pretty impressive story either way and I witnessed it. It sounded like someone got shot. It’s definitely a sturdy set up. Both of us are klutzy as helland we have had no problems.

it has been my observation over the pass decade or so that forum chats are useful but, eventually end up hurting the forums themselves.. you cannot come on and catch up on stuff yacked about in a chatroom afterall but, you can always come on and see things yacked about on forum itself and participate in that yacking even if hours old..

yeah i am kinda being a skeptic of the chatroom.. things are already slower here and i would just hate to see it come to a complete stop because chating is mostly gonna be done in a chatroom instead of on the forum for everyone to see..

other than that concern, i think setting up a weekly permanent AM and a PM chat time would be fun..

That’s a very valid point, the way I imagined it was that people would have that chat window open just to mess around, and the more permanent topics/knowledge base would still be located on the forum.

Anyone else think it might hurt things? We can always just try it out and disable it if the community doesn’t like it! This is your house just as much as mine!

I’ve heard comparisons to lightsabres. Most of it is just flabbergasted looks.

i don’t know about the other wires guage but i know with the commonly used kanthal 32 guage 5 wraps is usually 2.0ohms, so 4 wraps should give you 1.8.. (i got taught each wrap adds .2)

just thought about this juice I picked up at the nearby brick and morter joint called Wootown <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapes. Its called French Pipe. I have been wondering if it is supposed to be sweet as it is.. or is the guy adding a bit much sucrose, or what. Its like a pipe combined with the milk left at the end of a kids breakfast cereal.. its nice.. but really.. its like tobacco and melted french vanilla ice cream. Anybody experience that?

a lot of french pipe and other pipe type tobacco ejuices i have had do tend to be on the sweeter side, probably why i tend to like ’em most times..

General Vaping Discussion • Re: Evod-C clearomizer

Ah…I knew that real Evods were Kanger, but when I didn’t see anything on the Kanger site, I just figured using the name was just a blatant rip-off and that they just used the same coils. The fact that they’re really Kanger is, at least potentially, much better.

General Vaping Discussion • evod/protank mini kanthal size…

can anyone tell me what size kanthal (ie…28 / 30 / 32 / 34 )wire is used in the kanger evod / miniprotanks heads…
i am asking so that i can order the right size to wrap a few coils myself…
i understand that 30 gage has a specific resistance of .69 ohms / inch, 32 gage has a specific resistance of 1.09 ohms /inch and 34 gage has a specific resistance of 1.75 ohms / inch…
my problem is . i have no idea how much wire is used to make a coil in the 1.5 to 1.8 ohm range when it is wrapped around a 2mm wick
any assistance is appreciated in advance

edit
in other words an inch of 36 gage is 2.57 ohms , so they probably use around an inch of that for their 2,5/2.6 ohm coils
so with that being said, a bit more than an inch of 34 g kanthal would be used to garner a 1.8 ohm coil , correct
