General Vaping Discussion • Re: What are you waiting for in the mail?

I don’t think there’s any such thing as a forever ADV. Tastes keep changing and there are so many juices out there to choose from. Hell, I’ve been keeping it simple and mostly buying at Fluid, but even there – they keep making new flavors.

I’m curious to read your findings in conclusion. I have the original but nothing to compare it to.
Thanks for sharing your opinion

subwaynm – have you gone to Mo<a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapes? I’m out on the island and frequent Fluid, but I know some people who’ve been there. Seems to be a good store from what they say.

I’ve been eyeing those for awhile now. How do you think the black chrome is going to do with scratching? Seems to me that it would scratch very easily letting copper shine through black… That’s the only reason I haven’t picked one up. Didn’t want to have to baby it knowing I can’t polish/buff it if it does scratch up..

It’s not as delicate as you would think. I don’t know why it’s advertised as a black chrome. It’s a nice black finish that feels textured almost like an <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/Joye-510-Accessories_c_17.html”>ego battery but minus the rubbery feel. If you’re on the fence and can get your hands on one, don’t hesitate. ITS AWESOME!!!! It’s pocket friendly as long as it’s the only thing in your pocket. I already dropped mine and almost cried. It didn’t scratch the black but the button got a small scratch. Believe it or not, ketchup will get the engraved logo on the body to shine like new. There isn’t much to polish since it’s got the coating but the top cap gets a little tricky because of the airflow channels.

My main concern is that if it -does- scratch through the black to the copper… I’m kinda screwed. You can’t buff that back to black, ya know? Sure, you could cover it up various way, but the scratch’s indention will still show. Idk, I wish it were -just- copper. I may pull the trigger on a phantom brass version eventually. Right now, I’m waiting for the GP Lux v3 (I’m kind of a GP fanbou <img src="http://e-cigkissimmee.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/d3736239c9_icon-razz.gif” alt=”:P” title=”Razz” /> )

I really like the Phantom Brass as well but the upkeep on that I’m sure will get annoying. If you know who’s stocking them let me know. Both version seem to be a hot commodity lately. I got mine from <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vaporcigzz and MrCrunch from <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>smokelsssmoking. I already saw one up for auction for $300.

And apparently with the release of the Shark DNA 30 they have not only corrected a couple of small flaws the DNA 20 had but did some other improvements including a magnetic charging system.

Me, I love the DNA 20 chipset that is in my Fazed Box mod. Does what it says it will, very easy to read display even without my glasses, great protection from all things bad and delivers a nice and even <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapor without the rattlesnake thing!

And having two 18650, 2,600 mAh batts in it give me a solid week of vaping pleasure <img src="http://e-cigkissimmee.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/c674c5b337_icon-mrgreen.gif” alt=”” title=”Mr. Green” />

RJ I like that Shark DNA 30 also and the Hanna mod DNA 30. Obviously the Shark has the edge due to a cheaper price. Rip Tripper seems to like the Hanna DNA 30 better.
I like that week of straight of vaping between charges; but does it carry some serious weight with those two 18650’s?

Not really due to the mostly plastic construction.

Fazed Box mod.jpg

Sadly, these are no longer available to the general public and mine was built for me as a personal favor after Fazed closed down shop to spend time with his family and some strange need to actually sleep instead of building mods <img src="http://e-cigkissimmee.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/a47f0f131d_icon-rolleyes.gif” alt=”” title=”Rolling Eyes” />

Nice looking units a shame there not still available. I have heard nothing but good things about them(Fazed Box mod)
And I guess you get what you pay for; plastic probably wouldn’t last long out in my Garage. Thanks RJ for the heads up. I guess I’ll go with the Hanna mod then

General Vaping Discussion • Kayfun vs Kayfun, is the real one better?

Hey ppl,

So today my genuine Kayfun Lite Plus V2 arrived. I was pretty excited I must admit. So a tear into the box to check it out and the excitement began to dwindle. I took it apart and inspected all the parts and checked the threads to make sure everything was ok. Hell, for over $100 it should be perfect. It was pretty clean and clear of any machine oil. That’s a plus over the clones. The threading was ok but not much better than the EHpro version. The plastic tank section had some extra material that needed to be peeled off but that’s no biggie. At first glance, they’re almost identical. So I start looking closer and start to see some fine details. The quality of stainless steel is a little better in the original. The juice channels seems to be pretty identical. Keep in mind the clone I’m using to compare is still new and unused. So right now I can say the genuine has a slight advantage of the EHpro clone. I’m going to play with them both a bit and build some coils and see if there is any difference in the <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vape quality. At the current moment solely based on a thorough visual inspection I cannot truly say the genuine version is leaps and bounds better than the EHpro clone. I’ll take some pics and post them in this thread as I go.

EDIT: one quick thing to mention, they both whistle exactly the same.

A couple of 18650 Batteries
Few Tips,
A Clearomizer Tank
Few different juices; I’m still looking for my All Day <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vape juice.

It is really nice when someone new to vaping seems to find there all day cape flavor quickly. I’ve been vaping now for 14 months and totally <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>smoke free for slightly over four months now. And it’s been something else trying to find my Favorite flavor. My taste buds changed when I had quit smoking for 45 days and I used to <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vape Tobacco flavors when I was still smoking a few analogs each day but since it’s been a chase.

That chase for the "perfect" flavor or "all day <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vape" seems be be endless. I <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>smoked Newport 100’s and when I switched I needed menthol liquid. That grew old quick and began to gross me out. I thought I’d found that "perfect" flavor with Tribeca by Halo. That got old too. I did stick with that for quite a long time though and it still remains in the rotation. Now that I’m over a year in and learned so much, I can buy juice based on recommendations along with the taste that I’ve developed. I started trying lots of new flavors in December and have found a few that I can <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vape all day or even weeks at a time. I think having a few go to flavors is important so you don’t get turned off by one that you’re always vaping. I’ve really been enjoying Brain Matter by Juicy <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapor lately. It’s an apple, pear, pomegranate mix in a high VG base. What you might want to do is try a variety of stuff from both ends of the vaping spectrum. Try fruit flavors, candy flavors, desert flavors, tobaccos, etc, even if you’re not necessarily into them and one might surprise you. My first few months I was not into fruits or candy <a href="http://www.vapinkiss.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>vapes at all. Now I’m really enjoying them. It may sound a bit cheesy but go to PBasardo’s website, tasteyourjuice.com, and go through the list of Street Shoutout eliquids. So far it’s been a good guide for me. Deadly Sin and Bobbas Bounty were pretty good. You can read up on them, watch the review and try and get a better idea about what they’re about rather than reading a generic description on a vendor’s site.

On the subject of adapters, I bought from this place once for my Logic battery to Halo cart adapter (RN4081 battery to KR808D-1/901 Atomizer). It’s a big list.
